This issue of the industries’ top Golden Age reprint anthology as usual boasts a line-up of all-time great artists. Will Eisner illustrates an early adventure starring Yarko, Master Magician, as he faces “The Voodoo King”, Bob Powell contributes a Cave Girl tale called “The Little Man Who Was All There”. “Good Girl Art” master Bill Ward brings the glamorous Torchy Todd to life in a hilarious case of mistaken identity while John Severin pits Billy The Kid up against “El Chivito”. Joe Kubert delves into a world of horror in “The Mirror Of Isis”, while Murphy Anderson takes The Space Rangers on “The Quest forb Lost Atlantis”- plus a precode crime thriller “Fatal Mistake!” drawn by Mort Meskin. The Mysterious Traveller tells the weird story of “The Sultan” by Steve Ditko. Rounding out this package is a 3 page love story by the guys who created the genre, Simon and Kirby, entitled “Please Help Me”.
